Punctuality
Parents must be responsible for insuring your children arrive on time
Lateness
Rhapsody Studios will take no responsibility for children that are collected late by parents. We understand circumstances arise and sometime lateness cannot be helped, and we will always wait for children to be collected, but if lateness becomes a continual occurrence you will be charged for our time.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are due by week 2 of each term. All costs are to be paid in full. Any unpaid accounts will be handed over to the Credit Reference Association. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.
Parents
Parents are not permitted to disrupt a class while it is in progress. No parents are allowed in the hall in between classes. Parents are requested to wait outside and collect children from the door. Please try not to approach teacher in between classes, as it is another classes allocated time. If you need to ask a question please leave a note and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Personal Property
NO responsibility will be taken for personal property. All belongings must be clearly labeled with student’s full name.
Photograph and Video/DVD Release
By enrolling at Rhapsody Studios you accept that any photographs or video recordings taken in the course of classes or performances may be used for publicity purposes including the Rhapsody Studios website.
Parent Consent
Parents will be required to sign a certification that the applicant is in good health and may participate in activities at Rhapsody Studios and sign a consent agreeing that in case of emergency requiring medical treatment that the parent will authorize Rhapsody Studios to have the student taken to medical or hospital facility for treatment.
Class Viewing Week
Classes are normally closed to spectators, however all classes are open for viewing by parents and friends on OPEN DAYS during the last week of term.
Mobile Phones
Students are not permitted to use mobile phones during class time.
Grievances
Concerns or grievances should be addressed our office, either by phone contact or email. We cannot address issues that are not bought to our attention. Our teachers are not in a position to address concerns during class times. We ask parents NOT to approach other parents or their children with issues involving any incidents during Rhapsody Studios classes. We have a policy of zero tolerance regarding bullying behaviour involving parents or students. Bullying behaviour may jeopardise your child’s place at Rhapsody Studios.
Concert
Students will not be able to participate in the concert if there are any fees outstanding. Parents MUST let us know by the start of third term if their child/ren are NOT participating in the concert or you will incur a non-refundable costume fee. Participation in the end of year concert is not compulsory.
